What
We Do
The Magic of Improv
Improv reminds us who we are when the world chooses to forget.
Being Institutionalized
Prison changes us. It teaches us to stay small, to protect ourselves, to stop trusting.
Over time, we lose our voice. We lose connection, the warmth of laughter, the freedom of being who we once were.
We learn to survive by being invisible.
Why We Exist
We step into that silence and bring laughter and light.
Through comedy improvisation, men learn to listen with intention, respond with authenticity, and trust with vulnerability.
They find their humanity again.
The Transformation
Fear turns into courage. Isolation becomes connection. Brokenness grows into hope.
What begins as a class becomes a community where men rediscover their confidence, empathy, and the capacity to love and be loved.
They walk out not as inmates, but as humans returning to a supportive community.
This is rehabilitation.

The gentlemen, in action.

"I've seen more people let down their emotional defenses in this class than I've seen in any other class I've attended in prison." -- A.S.

“Since improv, I’ve learned to drop my guard and open up to be the best me. When I video chat with my loved ones, I make eye contact – something you taught me to do. I am able to express myself better. To not be scared of interactions. I used to be isolated and very much to myself. I am now able to smile again. I find myself laughing a lot. My friends and family say they see a change in me.” -- S.G.

"I feel more open. In prison you are expected to act a certain way by other inmates and staff. Being able to play again has opened me back up to all the other possibilities." -- E.G.
